The tonal study for the central figure in a watercolour called GOLDEN AGE was the start for this cartoon. It was something that developed over a few days and here’s the result – just a bit of fun!

Haw!! Great tones and a great gag– with some lovely extras! Hard to decide what I liked best: the gardening tools in with the paintbrushes, the Roman numerals on the dart board, or… the cat!! And the statue in the garden seen thru the window was a true telescopic bonus– superb!! : )
